These days, many magazines are being published dedicated either to literature or to culture. Very few magazines have brought these two together on a common platform. Magazines have a social responsibility and they have to function within a framework of principles, ethics and ideology. Jayanthi wishes to assimilate the emerging knowledge fields and offer to its readers quality and value based literary works enshrined in Indian culture and tradition.

Jayanthi promotes translations to and from English and other Indian languages. Jayanthi is a bilingual magazine available in English & Telugu. It rededicates itself to strengthen Telugu literature, at the same time wishes to offer to its readers a treasure house of world literature in the original as well as through translations.
