Academic Credentials

Sri Viswanatha pursued his education in a school in his village school till he attained eleven years. He pursued his further studies in various schools located at Nandamuru, Pedapadu, Indupalli and Velinutala.

After his schooling in the village, Satyanarayana had his early education at the National College, Machilipatnam, which had sprung up more or less as the cultural wing of the freedom struggle in the Andhra districts. The non-cooperation movement interrupted his studies. After a few years he resumed his academic career and finally in 1929 he obtained the master’s degree in Sanskrit from the University of Madras.
